I’ve been travelling to Norway, Greece, Spain and England this summer and there’s been lots of fashion inspo to get from all of them. It was so fun to see how much it has changed during the past years. Out of all the countries my favourite one for summer outfits was Spain for sure. (It might be because of the warm weather.) Lots of sexy women who weren’t afraid to show off their bodies. And I don’t mean that in a bad way. So for this outift I’ve borrowed some confidence from back in Spain and put together two of my favourite items this summer, the slit skirt and the crop top, showing both legs AND belly. Say whaaat. I also came over this yellow bag in London and it was love at first sight.
Talking about fashion inspo; you guys should really check out fashion one. I’ve directly linked this to their street style lookbook which is my fave at the moment. They also have a great youtube channel you can check out here.
Sometimes things happen when you least expect it. And when something seems too good to be true…it usually is. BUT NOT THIS TIME. I hadn’t planned to do any travelling outside Norway this summer, but when my bestie Tuva called me to tell that she had found this amazing deal for a weekend trip to Greece I just couldn’t say no. The price was only a 100USD and this included round-trip tickets from Norway AND unspecified accommodation. This is the catch though… unspecified accommodation. If you pay a little bit extra you can get a specified hotel before departure. But, since this was a spontaneous trip (and having lived in Thailand for so long) I wanted to get it as cheap as possible. We also had to travel the next day.
So we booked our tickets, packed our bags and travelled the next morning. We expected the worst and didn’t really bring anything of value. The travel was very easy seeing this was through Apollo where everything is carefully planned and explained to you. I guess it’s just something you have to expect going on these charter trips. To our surprise we got dropped off at a 5 star resort & SPA. We couldn’t believe that we had only paid a 100USD for this whole experience; we also got upgraded to business class on the way back home. Not bad huh?
To make things short I’ll just post some photos from the trip, as I said we didn’t bring much of value so we didn’t get to take as great photos as we should have.
Porto Platanias Beach Resort & SPA check it our here.
One of the five pools at the hotel, it’s always packed guests, but in return there is lots of fun activities happening there that everyone staying there can attend. There’s also an adult swimming pool there, if you get tired of all the noise. (lot’s of families travelling)
I can definitely recommend you to visit the Manousaki winery. The wine is oh so yummi and It’s 100% organic. It’s also only 2.50 euro for tasting and they have an interesting wine shop with lots of options for a great price. It is at the moment run by a girl name Alexandra Manousaki and she really knows her thing.
Cheers, or giamas as they said back in Greece. The whole outfit is actually from Thailand. //Skirt-Platinum//Top-platinum//watch-casio//necklace-H&M//Shoes-VNC//Sunglasses-Sampeng market/
Chrysopigi Monastery. The history the tour guide tells you might not be that interesting, but if you use five minutes to talk to the nuns you’re not going to regret your visit. At least the one I had the pleasure of talking to. She just loved being there, and was very passionate about the work that her and the nuns had done for the monastery and was very happy to show us around outside of the group.

Despite all the tourists, we had an amazing trip. Crete is gorgeous! If this seems tempting to you guys, you can book the whole trip all planned through Apollo. But, I would only recommend it for families or for people who aren’t used to travelling and needs thing to be planned in advance.
It’s normally a hazzle finding anything at primark, but these shoes were talking to me from afar. I love the red color!
I’m a sucker for hats and headwear, but in Thailand I don’t have many options. It’s just too hot.
I feel really bad that I haven’t been updating the blog, but there’s been so much going on lately. I went back to Norway and I’ve nearly been here for two months so there’s been a lot of catching up to do. The weather has also been so amazing that most of my time has been spent outside. Last time I wrote here I told you guys about Greece, and I will make a full post about it after this, but right now my computer has just been formatted so… I have to sort out all my photos. The place was amazing, and I’m sure you guys are just as eager to see the photos as I am showing them. It’s crazy to think we got the whole trip for only a total of a 100 USD. Not to brag, but I’m pretty good at finding these deals. Though… I must give creds to Tuva for this one. Other than hanging out with friends and family and trekking, Tom came over here two weeks ago. We’ve been pretty much up to something all the time, and went on a one week trip to Tom’s homeland England and my other home Spain. I can’t believe I hadn’t been back there for three years. It felt great to be back. Anways… we’re back in Thailand again on the 9th and I’m super excited to see my baby Goku. I’m also very happy to see that you guys have been visiting even though I haven’t updated anything lately. Stay tuned for travel pics, but for now I’m attaching some photos from my hometown in Norway, Levanger.
One of my besties found a super cheap package trip to Crete, so I’m off on adventures again tomorrow. I’ve never been to Greece before, so I’m pretty excited! I’ll blog all about it when I get back. Ahh… I still haven’t had time to blog about our most recent trips either, but it will all be up soon. In the meantime you can read about our ghost hunting in Loei on Toms blog.
Does anyone have any tips on things to do while I’m there?
Summer is the time when everyone is trying to impress. It’s the time of the year for house parties, bbq’s, and trips to the beach and everyone is ready to show off! If it’s casual, formal, sexy our cute, a summer dress is the perfect outfit. Add the rights accessories and you’re there. I like to go to pintrest for some inspo. My favourite this summer is the floral print, what is yours?
Sunsets on Koh Libong. The tide withdrew nearly a mile during sunset, making it possible to walk out to the little island. Or digg for sea creatures, as the locals do…
The sunset on Koh Mook, taken on Had Farang beach.
Since I never wrote anything about two of the Trang islands we visited- Koh Mook, and Koh Libong, I thought I’d share my favourite thing about them both- the sunsets. They were dreamlike. Which one is your favourite?
