    Hello March

We’ve finally managed to break our sleeping pattern… at least to some extent. We haven’t been able to sleep until 3 am lately, due to last minute netflix or youtube browsing. Last night was no exception, BUT we woke up early(ish) this morning, so tonight should be better. We always start the days by walking baby Diego, before we go back to our other duties. But today was a chill day for me. I’ve just been hanging out by the pool reading and tanning. I also had time to make breakfast which consisted of delicious eggs and spinach with smoked Norwegian salmon breakfast. AND I even had time to make  a big salad I’ll make sure me AND Tom eats until it runs out. I’m not bad when it comes to eating greens, but I do want to make sure I have at least a salad a day. We’ve also started adding spirulina to our shakes and I’m already feeling more energetic.

Beautiful nature from our room at the Rain forrest eco restort in Phitsanulok.

This is not what I made for breakfast, but a yummy photo from Rocket in Silom!

Are you getting enough Vitamin D?

Blah, I’ve become so annoyed with all this plastic use in Bangkok lately. I mean, it’s always been pretty bad, but somehow it upsets me extra much these days. I always make sure to save the plastic bags that aren’t used so at least they aren’t made and thrown away for nothing. From now on I will have a tote lying in my office for when I go for lunch, or anywhere else and even in the car for shopping. It is hard to remember, but so important. Let’s take a stand together and pack it in our bag already guys.

Oh, and btw, add me on snapchat, I’m Byea. Also add Manaosoda for the future. I might start using that one soon.

Perfect place for work and playtime

Found an awesome new dog friendly cafe at Ozono in soi Sukhumvit 39.. It’s called Dog Rocks and is also a bike shop/showroom. The food is just alright, but the working environment is perfect. It’s so easy to get things done there, but at the same time you get to bring your little doggie to play. The owner has a playful dog that loves to roll around with Diego while we’re working. Luckily they both don’t bark, hehe. There’s also a grass area outside where you can take your canine friend for walks  and to relieve itself. We all know how hard it is to find chill and dog friendly places in Bangkok this place is top grade!

    Note: It’s closed on Mondays.

Gonna talk Diego for some walkies and get some noodles from our soi. The guy opposite of our building makes the best sen lek with chicken!! Then I’m gonna try going upstairs to the gym to do some HIT followed by tanning by the pool before…I have to go to work.

Best way to start the day

There’s nothing quite the same as starting the day with some proper breakfast (during lunch time) The past week we’ve been running errands from morning until work time so we’ve always had time to go grab something nice. We’ve finally tried out Rocket in Silom and Chu at Exchange tower, and also been eating at some of our old and beloved places.

The caramel Frappe was so good!!!

    caesar sald in a bowl

Am I the only one who hates anchovies in my Caesar Salad? Tom on the other hand loves it.

We were around our old neighborhood in Rajadamri today, and thought we’d have something quick at the Coffee Club. I gotta give them, their coffee and drinks are good… but I’m always disappointed about their food. It looks great, but tastes…ok. Now, what I chose this time, might not be from their breakfast menu, but I have chosen items from there before thinking it was just ok. So I was hoping for something different this time. Lesson learned, I will only visit when I have a thirst for coffee. Don’t get me wrong, if you’re just hungry while passing, don’t be scared to go in and eat. I even have a couple of friends loving the place, so it might just be me. reuben sandwish on a checkered background

We also went to get Tom a little booster/new vaccine today.Unfortunately there’s not enough focus on adults and vaccines. It’s also hard knowing which ones to get, as there are lots of different info on the internet. You might want to ask your doctor the next time you see him/her.

I know I’m almost on my ten-year mark on some! Jawn, enough of this boring stuff.

    Write you soon!

Had so much fun during Maya Festival last weekend, I honestly can`t wait for the next one. The lighting was out of this world, I`m not even exaggerating. Just look at the stage for example, I love how it is a giant. Perfect way  to represent Thailand. Tiesto must be one of the best Dj’s I’ve seen live. What a performance. There was even fireworks. Love how it was in Pattaya and being able to go to the beach the following day… We also found this amazing hotel called Momento. It`s pet friendly, have a nice pool bar, and AMAZING food is located only 5 minutes away from the beach. What a dream place… Life is so much better by the sea… Pattaya is definitely not the dirty city everyone wants it to be. I used to live there 4 years ago, and never experienced this dark side everyone is making it become. Unless you’re one of those people who visit walking street and gogo bars every day… then obviously  you won`t get a good impression, but neither will you by visiting Khaosan road and Soi Cowboy every day in Bangkok…

Cheers to many more weekens like this!

    Love all around!

Valentines day. Vday, The day of romance. Or for some, the 14th of February. I think it’s great that we have a day of the year where we show the ones around us that we love them. I mean some DO NEED a reminder, so this a great little alarm.

Love my bottom from Khongboon swimwear!

It doesn’t have to be your boyfriend, it can be a day to cherish your other loved ones too. Like your parents, siblings, friends…  Personally I’ve never celebrated valentines day, not while in our outside of a relationship. I can’t even remember what we’ve been up to on valentines day in the earlier years. But I do remember something about the gym! I like to think that we spend enough time and give eachother lots of love every other time of the year too.

Finally got to pop that bottle of wine I brought back from Spain…

Diego became a zombie… we went to have dinner at Rimpa Lapin and I liked it a lot. Fresh and tasty seafood and great atmosphere. The food is just as great as Mum Aroi, and the decor might have been even better!

This year, on valentines day we celebrated a friend of ours birthday on a “love” yacht. We boarded at Ocean Marina in Pattaya, took the boat out to Koh Rin and Monkey island, and watched the sun set while sailing along the shore of Pattaya. I think this was a perfect celebration of love and a new year passed.

What did you do for valentines?

    Luxe dream

Valentines day is right around the corner. For some, this doesn’t mean anything… for some this is a day where couples finally get to hang out after long days of work or stress. It could be a romantic dinner, a beautiful getaway, or maybe a little token of affection to show some extra appreciation for your loved ones. I came over this new brand called Rene Mouris, and now; as they are launching in Thailand, they have a 50-68% discount on their watches. They are selling them through Lazada, so make sure you take a look if you’re thinking about getting something for your lover, or even friend!

Since Renè Mouris is so new on the market here in Thailand, I thought I’d throw in some words for you about the brand. It’s a french purveyor of luxury timepieces, blending eminent craftmanship to create watches that are classic, elegant and most important affordable to all. I’m not very girly when it comes to watches, so I like them big, classy, and to have as little details as possible. It’s also very important that the quality is high, as you will be wearing your watch daily, and most likely for a long time. For me; the Luxe dream watches was a perfect match. You should also take a look at the male watches, I love them even more than the ones for girls.
