Love, love, love the colours and the floral print. You’ll rarely see me in long dresses but this one is my new fave.
I’m a princess :p 555
In love with this beautiful gown from lovers + friends. It’s gorgeous. I love the mixture of princess and sassy all in one. I had some fun times shooting with Espen the other day so more pictures will be up soon.

We had an awesome time in Koh Samui during new year’s! We didn’t get all the sunshine we were hoping for, but it was definitely raining a lot less than I had expected… We stayed from the 30th to the 3rd and had two days where we encountered rain, but only for short periods of time. I’m so sad to see everyone stranded over there in both storm and flood now. Seems like we got out of there just in time.
Coconut MANIA on the beach. Oh and it doesn’t hurt with a little shot of rum…
Nikki Beach party kids!
We went a bunch of us and rented a Villa in Chaweng over New Years. Once the rest of the crowd went back home Tom and me moved to Bo Phut and stayed at The Sunday Sanctuary not far away from the fisherman village. The fisherman village has so many nice eateries and drink spots so make sure you get time to go there for a hangout if you have time. New year’s was more hectic. We went all the way to Nikki beach for the countdown, which was nice until it started pouring down. So glad we didn’t go to Phangan for the full moon party!
2 0 1 7… Hey babe!! I love you!!
So chill at The Sunday Sanctuary Hotel and Spa
Loved this hotel, so clean and simple. And cheap!!
Welcoming 2017 the right way
Going to and staying in Koh Samui can get pretty expensive during this time of the year. Cut your costs by renting a motorbike. It costs 150-250 baht a day and you don’t have to bargain with the taxis that charge rip-off prices. Unless you’re drinking… then don’t drive. And expect to pay whatever. So annoyed with all these drunk kids driving around there…
And also, if the plane tickets are sold out, or too expensive, check out Lomprayah. We did the bus and ferry to Koh Samui this time and it was pretty chill, and only 1400 baht per way.
Will we be bumping into each other there next year?
Shoutout to one of the best meat experiences in Bangkok. We already know that Daniel Thaiger serves the best burgers in Bangkok if you take the price in to consideration. It’s always been simple, juicy and delicious. But this time, at their new restaurant Crying Thaiger– they’ve become even more creative-making burgers like mac & cheese burger, larb burger, lamb burger ++ I obviously went for the mac & cheese burger…It was soo good, super soft, and easy to bite into! The lamb chops served with jim jaew was no less. Next time, I’m going for the tomahawk. I wanted to get one last time I went, but you have to book a day in advance.
Love the wall art at Crying Thaiger made by Kat Jones!
Perfect and creamy burrata cheese… mmm…
Lamb chops with Thai sides, flavour explosion!
An amazing creation, it started off as a fun experiment but it blew peoples mind and has been on the menu since.
Mac & Cheese burger with truffle fries… this must be AT LEAST 1000 kcal of yummyness.
There might be some of you that aren’t super into meat and they have great options for you too. The burrata cheese in on point, until now the burrata cheese from Peppina has been high on the list, but I think Crying Thaiger tops it! They also have a simple yet tasteful Caesar salad too. Oh- and one thing you must try! Their Lab fries, they are AMAZING! Super spicy and packed with flavours. I was too full to try out any of the desserts after all the eating, but they do have a nice dessert list too so save some space. Oh, and cocktails!
We’ve finally come around to book our tickets to Koh Samui for New Years. Can’t wait to get some tan on, and not least celebrate the new years with good friends and family- meaning Espen! We’ve booked a villa from the 30th to the 2nd and after that me and Tom will go on adventures for one last day before it’s back to real life.
I’ve been Dreaming back to our fun times in Phuket last month, so this was a great check on the list! If you guys are wondering where this awesome place is, or would like to rent the villa yourself it’s called the Villa Love 21 and is located in La Colline in Layan. Nice, spacious and luxurious in a calm and friendly neighborhood. <3
When I moved to Thailand, I never saw myself as a noodle person and I always steered away from having to eat it. It felt like everyone was on a noodle craze! I think my main problem was that I’m not a fan of noodle soup and secondly (and maybe the cause of me not liking noodle soup) that it was tasteless. That’s what happens when you grow up in a Norwegian family and have an overly protective mother that doesn’t feed you spicy food. Or friends with a bad stomach that is!
So yummy! There’s so much flavour. The trick is to eat as many as you can and stack them. We always get 10+ bowls of sen lek nua (thin noodles with beef)
Thankfully I met Tom, who is quite the noodle expert, let alone that he loves the spices just as much as me, who- first of all, introduced me to dried noodles (haeng) and second of all- my favourite noodles ever. BOAT NOODLES. We were so obsessed with it for a while and drove far just to try out new ones, but nothing beats the boat noodles in Victory monument. The portions are PERFECT, and there is enough veggies and meat to taste all of it in every slurpppp. SO GOOD.
How do you find these amazing bowls of deliciousness you may ask? Get on a BTS to Victory monument and ask for boat noodles or kuaitiao ruea and the locals will know. Otherwise just walk towards the klongs!
I’m not your typical coffee person but after I stared my 9-5 job this has become one of the things I really look forward to daily. My sister got me a Mini Me coffee machine for my birthday, at that point it was to enjoy chocolate drinks but now I use it to brew my coffee. I love the many flavours of the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto and especially the difference in level of strength. My favourite one must be the Ristretto Ardenza for energy. One cup and I’m good to go for the rest of the day. I love the full-bodied taste of a bold espresso. I normally make a shot of Ristretto Ardenza and ice it over some ice cubes. So delicious for warm Thailand days.
Don’t tell me you don’t want one now!
If you are a fitness freak like myself try adding a shot of the Ardenza with a scoop of protein. Add some ice cubes and you have the best pre work out coffee you’ve ever tasted, and so rich in nutrients.
Perfect for a warm and sunny day.
When I first got the machine the selection was not as great as it is these days. I remembered I had to go around malls and shops to find the coffees that I wanted. I’ve even had relatives from back home in Norway to bring me some capsules. Now- we just found out that you can order the coffee straight to your door. How great is that? We also got these cute little NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto espresso cups in pink so we know exactly how much to fill in our cups.
If you want to purchase your own machine or capsules you can check out the NESCAFÉ pop-up shop.
