I just received this outfit from Zalora’s own line EZRA, and I’m in love. It’s both classy and chic and absolutely perfect to wear to go out shopping, for lunch or as I am here; a chill out with Goku at The Barkyard. The line has so many gorgeous items, either you want something basic or something for a night out, and best of all it’s affordable.

It’s all in the details. I like how it’s such an adult and proper dress, but at the same time has these sexy little slits. I’m also very happy to see the sizes are standardized which is not always the case in Asia.

I put together a little outfit from some of my favourite items, I say some of; because it was so hard to choose.

    Wat Arun-The Temple Of Dawn

Temple fashion #1 Cover your legs and shoulders. While many “ordinary” temples in Thailand carries no dress code, you should still keep this in mind. Be respectful!

The stairs on the temple are pretty steep. The stunning tower rises 79 meters above ground!

Getting our fortune told. You have to shake this cup full of fortunes until one falls out. On this, is a number. You then have to remember the number so you can collect a piece of paper holding your fotune. If it’s not a good fortune, you are adviced throw it away.

    wat arun beautiful detals.

Notice all the carming detals. It is decorated with ceramic tiles and fragments of multi colored porcelain covering every last bit. Wat means temple in Thai. Arun comes from Aruna, the Indian God of Dawn.

I recently went with a friend of mine to help out some Thai students with their tourism project. They had to take us around Bangkok, and one of our destinations was Wat Arun. I was actually pretty glad when I heard, since I hadn’t been there for ages. I guess I should get better at just travelling around Bangkok and seeing the sights. There are over 31200 Buddhist temples spread around in Thailand, but Wat Arun is one to stand out. You should definitely visit if you’re in town. Thought I must warn you, it gets pretty hot at daytime. If you want to see an even more spectacular view, you should definitely see the temple from the east side of the river at sunset. At this time the temple is actually sparkling.

I LOVE converse. It really goes with everything! This time I chose a colour I didn’t think I would see on too many people.

We found this little stall who makes customized caps in the “talat rot fai”/railway market the other day. I just couldn’t resist getting one! Isn’t it cute?

Last weekend we went to Talad Rot Fai also known as the railway market. (Rot Fai means train in thai). I was really surprised over the great selection of goods they had there. They had some seriously cool vintage items. I ended up buying quite a bit more than I had expected, and for the sake of my wallet I decided I’d leave some things for later. Most of this outfit is bought there. I’m quite obsessed with these printed tops these days, and the ones I found in the market were the best I’ve seen in Thailand so far. We also found this adorable little stall where you can design your own cap. I guess mine a bit too cute, but you could also pick more basic designs. This is absolutely a must go to place for people who want something different than the usual markets we often find in Thailand. The market is open from Thursday to Sunday. I wish I could go back today, but I’m stuck with my studies. Hope you’re all doing great on your exams, and crossing my fingers I will too. Have an amazing Saturday guys!

    Hello beautiful people

Since this is my first blog post, I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Anita. I’m 22 years old. I’m half Thai and half Norwegian. I’m currently doing a Bachelor in Medicine, or pre-med as some of you would call it. When I was younger, my parents would take me everywhere and I got to see a lot of things kids my age never knew existed. Over the years my curiosity grew and left me wanting more. I guess this is why, at 18 years old, I decided to finish high school in Spain.  Also…coming from a city with 18,000 inhabitants can be pretty boring. ..

After I graduated I knew I didn’t want to stay in Norway. I started going a lot back and forth between Norway and Thailand; this went on for a whole year. In January 2013 I had fallen so madly in love with Thailand that I decided to try to live there for a period of 6 months, and as you can see it turned out to be a lot longer. Here, I met my boyfriend, who has become one of the most important persons in my life.

Everyday life in Bangkok is everything else than back in Norway, there’s always something happening. There are all these amazing events, all types of places to shop and eat. There’s all these traveling opportunities, and most important it’s affordable…ahhhh … I guess this is why I’ve decided to start this blog, to share this with you guys, so that you can have the opportunity to do the same, either through following my journey on the blog or in real life.
